Hey Everyone-

I'm glad to report that the petition has picked up some speed thanks to local media we are getting across the country, with stories like this one, which is also being broadcast in places like Buffalo, Texas, and elsewhere.  Thanks to Chad for stepping up to be interviewed for this one.  

We are truly in this together, folks, and only by your efforts will we get these student loans cancelled, once and for all...for ourselves, and for the good of the country and the millions of people who will follow in our footsteps.

Contacting your local media, and telling them to report on the petition is really helpful. Contacting the White House, and telling President Biden to both cancel all federally owned loans, and also order the Department of Education to stop opposing student loan borrowers in bankruptcy proceedings for the loans that cannot be cancelled would be exceptionally helpful.  Pasting the link to the petition in at least ten places will get us to several million signatures when everyone does it.  Of course, getting 2 people you know to sign is probably the quickest way we will get to where we need to be.  Following our new twitter account is also very helpful at this time.

Finally, Boosting the petition helps.  We get about a third of our signatures through this.

I hope that you can appreciate that this struggle requires more than your signature.  I truly hope that you will find a way to put some serious effort into this.  This is how we will get to where we need to be.
