Everyone-

As we await the election results, we are in a very strong position regardless of how it turns out.  We need to hit the ground running when this race finally concludes.  To that end, will you please make a moderate donation to support our efforts going forward, and also give the petition a boost at this time?  Both of these will help tremendously.

I hope you are getting excited.  Things are shaping up well.  We got this!

Here are a couple of our accomplishments during the race:

• We were the FIRST AND STILL ONLY GROUP to call for  the cancellation of student loans by executive order.  5 weeks ago, leading Senators began to FOLLOW OUR LEAD by introducing a resolution calling for the President to cancel student loans by executive order!  I can also tell you that people at the highest levels of the Trump Administration and the Biden campaign considered it very seriously.  The Trump Team, I know, was seriously considering cancelling 100% of the loans for people owing over $100,000, and 50% for people owing less than $50,000 (and a sliding scale in between). Too bad (for them) they didn't do it. 

• We are THE reason Elizabeth Warren brought returning bankruptcy into her agenda, and ultimately pledged that she would return bankruptcy to student loans on DAY ONE as President by executive order.  Same also with Bernie Sanders. We were also the driving force behind Joe Biden agreeing to adopt Warren's bankruptcy plan.

We are now in an exceptionally good position to get these loans GONE, folks.  But we can't do this without you!
