Thanks for signing the petition.

I'm glad to report that we are now at 110,000 signatures.  This is very good.  The change.org people contacted me earlier in the week and said that our petition is among the best performing of all of their petitions.   Last Sunday we were getting 5,000 signatures per hour!

This is, however, less than 0.1% of all student loan borrowers! 

So..we are barely scratching the surface!

We should be able to do far better now that we have a base of over 100,000 people.   It is time for this student loan problem to be eradicated from our country.  It is a national threat at this point, and the recently passed relief measures will do absolutely nothing to cure it. 

We've had enough.  Student loans were essentially non-existent this country 40 years ago.  We need to get back to that norm.  Helping us fight this fight is the most patriotic thing that you can possibly do.  As unlikely as it may sound, the country actually does need you to step up on this.

Interestingly:  I was advised this week by the former head of the federal lending program, Wayne Johnson, that 80% of all student loan borrowers are not able, and will probably never be able to pay down their loans.   (I had been saying 65% previously).  This is from the horse's mouth folks. This is over 40 million people.

...We need to find them!  

So, we are asking EVERYONE to do two simple things this weekend:

1.  Boost the petition.  We're foregoing donations again so that more people will do this.  Even $5 is great, but more if you can.  It really does help.  A lot!

2.  POST IT in at least 25 places where it will be seen.
