Edwin's Recent Medical Condition

Hi All,
Edwin wanted me to relay a personal message concerning his medical condition. Unfortunately, I can hear in his voice that this is weighing-on-him more than the headline might appear (potential anemia or being anemic). Edwin is usually upbeat and faith-filled no matter what, but with this new medical condition, and 4-1/2 long years left in his "life sentence" for a victimless (non-crime-now), plush with his recent Clemency Petition getting denied, his mother being up-in-years, and no telling if he'll get to see and be with her by the time he is scheduled for release, all this add-ups to lots of stress.
I think most of us are living in a stressful environment with challenging economic conditions and political/cultural shortcomings, so it's an added burden to be on the inside of prison walls, and face the world we all have to navigate.
So this leads to the question, "what can we do to help"? I say, text him directly, to even just say Hi (256) 982-5828, or sign-up for Corrlinks to send him e-mails (Corrlinks.com), or send him some $ so he can buy better commissary food: https://fnd.us/829bk6?ref=sh_7CEpSd He does attribute the anemia to over 30-years of horrendous prison food.
I know many of you have been here since day-1 (practically), giving and helping as best as the spirit moves you to do, and maybe the challenge is sharing Edwin's story, so we can gather new support, b/c many of us have given as much as we can, and it's asking a lot to have the same folks keep giving (fund-raising support) over-and-over again. That's why there are options, just connecting/w him and sending him a text or Corrlinks message, if you (we) are tapped-out financially in this big-inflationary economy, or even just sharing post such as these, can help quite a bit.
It may not seem like it, but eventually FREEDOM will come, and all our efforts will have paid-off. In the meantime, he thanks all of his long-time supporters immensely for all the years of friendship, help, and support.
Wishing everyone a joyful Autumn, on behalf of Edwin Rubis and his family.
