27 YEARS IN PRISON AND COUNTING

Three weeks ago, I celebrated my 27 years in prison. Nothing to brag about. And to top it off, today I am spending Father's day on lockdown in an 8 by 12 prison cell. I don't know how I've become accustomed to such living conditions. It has to be my faith. There's no question about it. The thing I can never get used to though, is to continue to ask for help (it feels shameful at times), but I know it's necessary, if I am ever to see the light of day; FREEDOM, that is.
