I have seen a great deal come and go at this college; some of it deserving its coming, some of it deserving its going. But Sunset Cottage is a place which has clearly merited a permanent Fixture in our Campus and our identity, by virtue of its being so firmly and beautiful fixed in the hearts and minds of the College and her alumni. THEREFORE:

We the undersigned, reject the notion of the Master Plan that Sunset Cottage must be removed from the Hill to make way for newer and plainer buildings, without a history upon the campus. We reject the notions that handicap accessibility can be used as an argument against keeping Sunset Cottage. We ask that those responsible for the Master Plan, using the brains upon which they capably sit, to seek out manners of refurbishing Sunset Cottage so that it is handicap-accessible to those who require such access. We demand that the Sunset Cottage be made available to all, instead of being available to none.
