Salam Alaikum my friends,

Today, we join you in grief as you watch your beautiful country once again fall into the hands of Islamic Extremism. For the past two decades we have been your friends, allies, and guardians. We have watched you find your independence, give your women and children education, and see you catch a glimpse of the freedoms we are so privileged to enjoy in America. It hurts us deep in our soul to watch the true people of Afghanistan suffer so greatly because of the selfishness of power-hungry men.

Make no mistake that the road ahead for the people of Afghanistan will be long. There will be resistance to the Taliban from many different groups. Some will be other extremist groups; some just want to keep their freedoms from a Taliban rule. However, the people that will suffer the most, will be the true Afghan people who can’t work, make money and in turn can’t feed their families due to an everlasting Civil War. We are so sorry and may Allah grant you peace.

For those our government left behind. We cannot express to you enough how sad, angry, and bothered we are by the decisions of our elected officials throughout the departure of Afghanistan. Please understand that the American government does not speak for Americans! We spent many hours every day contacting endless resources to do everything we could do to save as many Afghan allies as we could, and it breaks us that we couldn’t do more because we were powerless. We are sorry we failed you, but we will keep fighting and we will keep praying.

To our Afghan friends, allies, and all innocent peoples; please keep up the hope!

Salam alaikum wa rahmatullah,

Your American Friends
