Public demand:
*Abolish Voter ID, and start Voting based on Aadhar based Face Recognition Identity or Aadhar based Identity*.
After alleged vote rigging, a nationwide discussion has begun about the credibility of the Election Commission.
In a democracy, the Election Commission plays a crucial role, and it should not dismiss such concerns merely as “political allegations.”
It is an open secret that bogus reserved votes are used in elections—from Gram Panchayat to Lok Sabha. It's a open secret.
Malpractices such as creating “special voters” ( Ladke Matdar) by registering multiple voters at the same address, registering voters both at their place of residence and employment, and using another person’s identity card to register votes have become common.
The uncomfortable truth is that our voter lists are flawed.
*As the voting process is the soul of democracy, For democracy to thrive, the process must be transparent and trustworthy*.
Main Demand
To preserve its credibility, the Election Commission should adopt Aadhaar-based digital identification and other cutting-edge technologies, in line with the Digital India vision, to eliminate bogus voters.
