As many of you may know, Morton County, the North Dakota National Guard, and officers from other states, have used water cannons in below freezing temperatures against peaceful protectors, they have also used sound cannons, mace, tear gas (fired in canisters), rubber bullets and bean bag bullets. The water protectors continue to occupy land guaranteed to the Standing Rock Sioux in their treaty. That very same treaty specifically promises there will be no further "hostilities against the Standing Rock people, which we see is blatantly untrue. These same militarized officials are also specifically targeting medical personnel, journalists and photojournalists who are documenting the news for mainstream America to see. Treaties are, according to the US Constitution, the "supreme law of the land." Why then are Morton County Sheriff's Deputies and their group violating that treaty, as well as human rights, as well as First Amendment Rights? Oil. Money. Greed.
