Dear Friends,
Jeffrey and I remain eternally grateful for your continued support and solidarity. Our legal battle for his innocence and truth to prevail is over. However, we will not cease to profess and expose this grave miscarriage of injustice. For almost two decades, the government has shamelessly pursued the destruction of Jeffrey’s professional and personal life because he stood up for his constitutional rights and would not plead guilty to a crime he did not commit.
Jeffrey continues to pay the ultimate sacrifice for having the courage to speak up and out. Being unjustly convicted of seven counts of espionage was not enough punishment for our government. As you know, he has suffered continued horrific and inhumane treatment during his wrongful incarceration; medical negligence, physical and verbal harassment, and intentionally being placed in a facility 900 miles away from his family.
Jeffrey is completing the last year of his 3.5 year sentence. He was recently informed that he is scheduled to be transferred to a halfway house in January of 2018. His sentence ends in June of 2018 followed by 2 years probation.
Jeffrey and I continue to face many challenges in the coming months and years. Due to an unsuccessful appeal, Jeffrey will exit the federal prison system a convicted felon and a supposed traitor to the country he still loves. He has a long road ahead trying to obtain employment with seven wrongful convictions for espionage.
Unfortunately, Jeffrey has not been employed since the day of his arrest on January 6, 2011. His former employer fired him and no one else would hire him while under federal indictment. Not only has Jeffrey suffered but so have his family, friends, community and society. An intelligent, strong, ethical and productive member of our world has ceased to exist at the government's hands.
Please continue to support us and assist in Jeffrey's homecoming:
Your help for the Jeffrey Sterling Homecoming Fund (https://www.gofundme.com/jeffrey-sterling-homecoming) will assist with general financial preparations and help Jeffrey and I begin our journey of healing and overcoming this grave miscarriage of justice.
Many of you have helped support in the past to help us during Jeffrey's imprisonment. We are deeply grateful for the amount of donations we have received. We have used those funds to support a number of things over the years: Jeffrey's medical necessities, paper, pencils, envelopes to send mail, email, telephone calls, paying monthly restitution fees from the court, and sending him books and magazines. You've helped pay all my travel expenses to visit him in Colorado and to carry on with managing the normal expenses of life.
This new fund will help us as we start this new chapter of our lives.
You can also continue to send words of support and encouragement to my beloved husband. Your sentiments will lend much-needed support and strength to endure his final days of incarceration. You may write letters and/or send cards to him at the following address:

Jeffrey and I know how incredibly fortunate we are to receive such emotional and financial support. Despite this unfathomable tragedy, we have received life's greatest gifts of genuine goodwill towards fellow humankind. We continue to wish each of you and your families continued peace, health and happiness.
With much respect and gratitude,
Holly Sterling
