Thank you all for sharing and supporting thus far. We’ve crossed the big 500 and are rapidly approaching 600 & beyond as I write this. If you’ve signed, you’ve recognized that Gianforte’s values contradict what Stevens’ are as an institution - and this must change now.
Please keep sharing & promoting through your channels!

E-mail Template:
My name is [NAME] and I’m a [CURRENT STUDENT/ALUMNUS]. I’m ashamed that my alma mater continues to take money from Greg Gianforte whose donor history and actions directly contradict Stevens’s values. It is now 2021, and Gianforte has passed legislation restricting the rights of LGBTQ+ people, women, immigrants, Montanan student voters, amongst a host of other bills. It is unconscionable that the administration would think it appropriate to name a building after such an individual. I am asking that you remove Gianforte’s name from the Gateway Academic Complex and, ultimately, stand by your students.
Or you can call and say:
“Hello, My name is [NAME] and I’m a Stevens Institute of Technology [STUDENT/ALUMNUS] calling in regards to the establishment of Gianforte Family Hall. I do not support association with the Gianforte Family Foundation because of Greg Gianforte’s high profile support of organizations and policies that directly contradict Stevens’s values of inclusion and diversity. This is a decision that has marred our institution and should be turned over in support of our community. Thank you.”

Be well, and keep up the good fight!
