President Erickson- Statistical Analysis

Abigail WintersGrand Junction, CO, United States

I posted today that President Erickson stated that only 15-20% of the area would be affected. At the town hall meeting I asked him if the retention pond was considered in the percentage. He said it was not a part of the 15-20%. Considering the retention pond at the end of the Native Plant Study Area (which was originally left out of the statistical analysis), a larger and more significant part of the Native Plant Study Area will be affected. The retention pond is important to the entire ecology of this area. Eliminating the retention pond will most likely affect the surrounding environment (not just the parts affected by construction).
