See How Your Senator Voted -- And Please Let Them Know What You Think About Their Vote

Dear Friends, Thanks again for signing the petition and for making calls and distributing the petition before the Senate vote. As I wrote last night, tragically, the Senate voted to repeal the US Fish and Wildlife Service regulation protecting wolves and bears from inhumane treatment on National Wildlife Refuges, by a vote of 52-47. As promised, here is how each Senator voted: https://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=115&session=1&vote=00092. As you can, see all Republican Senators and one Independent (King from Maine) voted for the repeal, and all Democrat Senators and the other Independent (Sanders) voted against it, with one Republican Senator (Isakson from Georgia) not voting. If you can, please call your senators to let them know how you feel about their vote; consider writing a letter to the editor (they matter); bring it up at constituent meetings, and more. Senators need to know that their votes have consequences. Thank you again for your support and action. Let's not let this issue die. For the sake of wild wolves, magnificent bears, humane treatment of all animals, our National Wildlife Refuges, sound eco-system- based management principles, dignity, and respect, Deborah
