Hello, to all of my Dad's long-time supporters! Thank you so much for your interest in and caring for my Dad and your sustained support.
If you have not already read this news, I wanted to share my happiness and love with you on this 20th day since my Dad received his court grant of Compassionate Release! On February 2, 2023 my Dad was granted immediate release from prison and he arrived in Sacramento on February 3rd where we were reunited at the airport (see pic). I cannot begin to express in words what it means to me, after all these long years, to have my Dad free ! ! Even after this short time I sometimes wonder if it is all real!!?? BUT IT IS!!!
My Dad was away for over 15 years - long and hard years! He left prison with the clothes on his back and a few items in a duffle bag, but NOTHING ELSE!! The federal government does not give you anything but a bus ticket home. Thus, my Dad has started a Go-Fund-Me effort to raise some funds to allow him to begin to get back on his feet as he adapts to our life "pace" after 15 years of absence.
Help Luke Scarmazzo Rebuild His Life
I would greatly appreciate any amount you can donated to help him begin to rebuild his life and to prepare himself to be able to continue this fight to get all marijuana prisoners, no matter which incarceration system, federal or state, F R E E D, just like he has been after years of trying! Thank you for your consideration and for your donation for my Dad! WE BOTH APPRECIATE IT!
