Rick Warren, Pastor of The Saddleback Church, is an opportunist who shamelessly battened on the Aurora tragedy to advance his sectarian agenda with the ludicrous claim that the teaching of evolution was responsible for the shootings. Specifically, he said the following on Twitter: "When students are taught they are no different from animals, they act like it." It is utterly inappropriate for Presidential candidates to sanction this sort of nonsense with their presence.
