Thank you for your support, Council have halted the removal of the lights.

After a meeting with the Community Council and local councillors we made a proposal to the council.

The council have agreed to halt their course of action and meet with the Community Council and other local groups and interested parties and discuss the issue further.

There are still concerns from the council on funding to do any repairs needed but we will cross that bridge when we come to it. 

Thank you for signing the petition it has made a difference to the outcome. I will be submitting it to the council so they can see the weight of public feeling.
