Thank-you all that signed and commented for your ongoing care for Pasco's Trees

The Ordinance passed at 20% while maintaining the exemptions. The Resolution for a CAP mitigation fee per acre was $10,000 which was increased from the original proposed $3500. All Heritage Trees on any acreage will be saved!!! The Resolution amount can be increased or decreased every 3 years. The Board of County Commissioners let us know that there is currently $10 million unused dollars in our tree mitigation fund and they increased how they will match replanting efforts through landscaping in areas that need or have lost trees in Hurricanes or in redevelopment areas, ie along US 19. There was a lengthy discussion about preserving Pasco County's Agricultural Lands and not having them be clear cut and "shovel ready". I am closing this petition now but am sincerely grateful for those who signed and commented. We will continue to #Preserve Pasco. If you want to reach out to me, please feel free.
