Here's a little update about how the signatures are gathered.  36% of our signatures are from people 'chipping in' to advertise our petition and spread awareness.  

We can really band together by contacting our community leaders, click this Sterling Heights Directory link to see how!!  (I've emailed a few myself).  

The Chaldean Community Foundation (CCF... the organization that bought the land with our Sterling Oak) needs certain financing and permits that need to be finalized and acquired so THERE'S STILL TIME!!! Perhaps we could all develop a good community relationship and be great neighbors!

(Just a side note... I - or anyone else I am aware of- is collecting any type of money.  The requested funds from Change.org are going to basically advertise our campaign and spread the news nationwide.  I have chipped in along with 100 others who care deeply about the Sterling Oak)
