On March 14th at 3:20 pm I will be presenting the Save Over The Counter (OTC) for Residents Only Petition (link) to the CPW Commission.  Please spend some time sharing the petition on social media hunting pages and email it to friends/family.  We are approaching 5500 signatures and need as many as possible  If you have not heard, the CPW Staff recommended the total removal of archery OTC hunting last week.  This is a great disappointment to Residents since Resident archery hunters have been down by over 4000 since 2014.  Residents have not contributed to the overcrowding that CPW claims they are addressing.  As the OTC petition table shows there are more nonresidents than residents during archery OTC and the surging numbers of nonresidents are running locals out of mountains.  The federal land is public land and open to all, but the deer and elk are a state resource where the state holds jurisdiction over tag allocation.  The laws and constitution of Colorado declare our elected representatives and state employees must manage the resources of the state for the benefit of Residents.   CPW is selling out resident tag equity for nonresident dollars and it has been going for decades.

Thanks for your continued support, lets hope we can convince the CPW Commissioners to go against the CPW staff that wants more Noresident dollars and we can restore Resident Hunter Equity in big game hunting in Colorado.
