Oakham Battery Project

EFSB 25-07: Pursuant to G.L. c. 40A § 3, Moraga Storage, LLC (“Company”) hereby submits to the Energy Facilities Siting Board (“EFSB”) its Petition for an exemption of the Town of Oakham zoning bylaws to to allow the construction of a 180MW Battery Energy Storage System to be located in Oakham, Massachusetts (the “Project”).

The Siting Board also invites written comments on the Project. Written comments will be most useful to the Siting Board if submitted by Thursday, October 30, 2025. Persons or groups who wish to be involved in the Siting Board proceeding (beyond providing comments at the public comment hearing or in writing) may seek to intervene as a party or to participate as a limited participant. A petition to intervene or participate also must be filed no later than Thursday, October 30, 2025.
