Good Afternoon, Everyone!
We are continuing to work on your behalf to fight this development.
It was exciting to hear that a case in Grand Prairie very similar to ours was WON by the people last week. It shows that if we stand together, we can do great things! We're hoping to get more details regarding that case and have reached out to several people who were involved.
We still feel that there are many in our community who are unaware of what is happening. This is OUR CHANCE to change it. In order to be able to reach everyone, we want to send out a mailer to Lake Ridge residents, but that will take some additional donations, as our primary fund is dedicated to the legal action we are taking.
I have completed setting up a bank account that is in our organization's name, Preserve Lake Ridge. We will be setting up a website with the same name and hope to have that up very soon. We have already created a QR code for that website that will soon connect to everything we have done in this effort so far.
We have a NEW fun way for you to DONATE! I have designed a Preserve Lake Ridge t-shirt with a logo on the back. You can choose from 5 different colors and your preferred size. It will include our QR code so that anyone who sees your shirt and wants to know more can simply scan to find out more! The campaign to order a shirt starts TODAY and runs through October 8th. At that time, the order will close and shirts will be printed and shipped to you. What a great way for us to spread the word about our cause!
Beyond this legal action, our plans for Preserve Lake Ridge is to make our community the best it can be. We want to advocate for you, watching our cities and what they are planning, and making sure that we have the BEST PEOPLE representing our best interests that are in positions of leadership, both on the POA board level as well as the city.
We will make it our mission to keep you informed about matters that impact our community. Knowledge is POWER!
As always, thank you for following along on this journey. We appreciate it more than you will ever know.
