Janice Brown gave us an update on 54 Hess:

Today at the City Council Meeting (Oct 11th), the Council approved the designation of 54-56 Hess Street South, subject to the following:

1. 
    For each property that receives no objection to the Notice of Intention to Designate, City Council directs staff to introduce the necessary by-law to designate to be of cultural heritage value or interest to Council; and,
2. 
    For each property that receives any objection to the Notice to Designate, the City Council directs staff to report back to the Council to consider the objection and decide whether or not to withdraw the Notice of Intention to Designate the property.
   Let's keep the petition going and get those 5000 signatures!
