Some great news to review from the past week:

• After the last email update to you, well over 50(!) people showed up IN PERSON to the Tuesday Clallam Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting to support the trail and local environment. It was a site to behold and a strong voice speaking out for this cause. (See attached photo).
• The Trails Advisory Committee, a subcommittee established by the BOCC, decided to advise the commissioners to take more time to address safety considerations with the existing trail design, as the current design was deemed unsafe by them as-is.
• Towne Road is on the agenda for the meeting tomorrow. The commissioners will decide if they put the project out to bid, or if they heed the requests for a pause from the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe, their Trails Advisory Committee, the Sierra Club, the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, WashPIRG, and countless project neighbors and stakeholders, including the 867 of you who have signed this petition.
