As encouraging as it has been to get all this support from our neighbors and friends, it seems like our efforts to preserve agricultural heritage in the Wolfville Ridge community is falling on deaf ears at the County of Kings. Despite us highlighting various concerns and areas where this zoning conversion from agricultural land to commercial does not fall in line with the Municipal Planning Policy, the county planner reviewing the application has made a positive recommendation to the planning committee to approve the application!
All is not lost however. There is a Planning Committee meeting tomorrow afternoon,Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. There will be an opportunity for all concerned to express concerns and ask questions towards the end of the meeting.
