January 31st, Steve Harvey went on a tirade on his “Steve Harvey Morning Show” and both tried to back track on his support of Trump while also mocking protesters against him and around the country. This was nothing less than pathetic. His comments are below: “Well your President is on social media. That’s how he’s running the country right now, through Twitter.” said one of his co-hosts. "Is anybody surprised? Where is the shock in this all? I begged? Didn’t I? I begged everybody to go to the polls. Now here we is." said Steve. Sorry Steve, but you don’t get to try and talk bad about the President and try to fit in when you came out in support of him mere weeks ago. Recall that after meeting Trump he said: “I walked away feeling like I had just talked with a man who genuinely wants to make a difference in this area,” he added. “I feel that something really great could come out of this… I would sit with him anytime.” "I get out of trouble and get right back in it. I’m tired of PC (Politically Correct)." said Harvey as he went on a tirade against protesters and those who chastised him for supporting Trump. “Steve, before you go too far.” said one of his co-hosts as they tried to save him from himself. “I don’t give a damn. Kiss the ground.” said Harvey, referring to those who were protesting his support of Trump. "Woah. We gotta go to break. Gather yourself." said another co-host in a last ditch effort to get Harvey to stop. “All this going on in the world and you worried about me meeting with the President.” said Steve while on his tirade, “See all these punk ass people talking about they gonna get a petition and have Steve took off the radio? I’ll walk around in a circle and march with your ass for three days because that’s all how long you’ll be out there. Because I know you ain’t gonna be out there longer than 48 hours.” His co-hosts were embarrassed and unsure of what to do, “I hate this segment.”, “Guys, it’s jet lag. That’s what it is.” Hey Steve, you better be careful what you wish for man. Not to mention, protesting is what won us our civil rights and it’s not something we need to ever be mocking like this. I’m embarrassed for you and ashamed of you. There is a reason we had a problem with you backing Trump. You’re a public figure and that carries responsibility. This is just one of those cases where if you’re not with us, you’re against us. You can go knock on Trump’s door because we’re done with you, you had your chance.
