A Successful Rally last Sunday

Thank you to everyone who made the effort to attend the rally last Sunday, for making signs and contributing to a very successful event.  Our speakers, Cr William Miller spoke of the importance of history and heritage in the community, Heritage Consultant Sandy Wilkinson pointed out the heritage features of the buildings and Cr Mikki Bouchee gave Council's stance on the development.  Council is behind resident's desire to see a far more sensitive approach to this very special Local Heritage listed site.  Please ask friends and family to write to the Deputy Premier/Attorney General, Vickie Chapman who is also Planning Minister to voice your protest at the proposed demolition and development on  email address : attorneygeneral@sa.gov.au.  It is only by speaking up that the Government will hear us.  Thank you so very much for your support.
