Help spread the word - higher power bills are a Queensland wide issue

Received a call from Stanthorpe today asking if these exorbitant power bill hikes affected them. The answer is YES. The Queensland Government determines the electricity price for 97 percent of the geographic area of Queensland. Chances are if you are reading this your power bills are proposed to rise again from 1st July 2016. Even Brisbane residents will feel the increased cost of living at the supermarket checkout from higher prices of products produced in regional Queensland. Our farmers - including Queensland dairy farmers - are still suffering from drought which is affecting 84 percent of Queensland. This is a great time for Brisbane to support regional Queensland businesses, farmers and communities. When all of Queensland works together good things happen.
