CEAA directive that TRJR receive Evaluation as Alternative Means to SR1

The 32 Bow Basin river communities that were devastated in the 2013 flood deserve protection from future spring floods and the Tri-River Joint Reservoir is the only proposal that offers a way to provide this protection.  An 8000 page submission by Alberta Transportation/Stantec has been submitted to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency in response to the 600 concerns identified by CEAA, the most serious of which was design capacity which seriously affects safety.  CEAA directed that TRJR receive evaluation.  Please contact your MLA and ask if a professional, unbiased evaluation by consultants, well-respected for such evaluations, has begun.
