Premier Legault has approved day camps and sleep away camps for special needs children. It doesn’t make sense that e won’t allow sleep away camp for all children 

Families are devastated by this news. Children need this time away to have fun with their friends and outdoor activities. It’s detrimental to their health and well being especially after 9 weeks of social isolation. It’s also a blow to the many students who have now lost their jobs as staff at these camps. 

Most sleep away camps have already put into place safety protocols to ensure that campers will remain safe. They have worked so hard and tirelessly to adhere to the government’s directives.
