Update - Jet Ski Campaign

Hi All,
Below is a link to the Council web page where you will find the 'advocacy paper' that outlines what Council is trying to negotiate with the State Government. Council has also employed & trained additional enforcement officers who will be doing regular beach patrols watching out for speeding and erratic operation of jet skis.

The Minister for Fishing and Boating, Jaala Pulford ( jaala.pulford@parliament.vic.gov.au ) appears to be resistant to acting on implementing rules that would keep jet skis away from swimmers and other water users. Minister Pulford doesn't seem or want to understand the jet ski volume problem we have on our peninsula beaches and Bay at this time of year.
Call the Water Police on 1800 135 729 to report jet ski incidents.
Please keep inviting to people to sign the petition if they haven't already done so. You may also wish to write to Minister Pulford.
Slowly, slowly we are making a difference but we do just have to keep persisting until the Melbourne politicians start to listen & act!
