Keep up the momentum to reverse the cuts

Since we launched this petition, 349 of you have signed. We need to keep building the momentum if we are going to convince Brian Pallister to reverse these cuts to Rent Assist. We have learned that as a result of the changes to Rent Assist, 150 recipients are no longer eligible. Thousands of residents in Manitoba Housing are having their rents increased. Moreover, we have also learned that the Rewarding Work benefit that provides transitional support for people leaving EIA into the workforce is being eliminated, introducing cuts just when people are starting to take steps forward to improve their lives. Please continue to share this petition and show your support for fair Rent Assist and EIA programs that will help lift all Manitobans out of poverty.
