Dear All, Thank you! This petition has met with an extraordinary response, as I note in my smh article today: http://www.smh.com.au/sport/the-fitz-files/peter-fitzsimons-the-government-must-know-it-is-wrong-to-build-three-new-stadiums-20171206-gzzyrj.html We are winning this, and with 133,000 people putting their name to the petition, we have made a strong declaration to the government: stop this nonsense, and put the resources where the people need them, not where your most powerful and influential friends want them! What do we need from here? Two things. More signatures. It'd be great if you could circulate this to your friends and get them to sign. And also, as you'll see in my column, write to your local member of parliament. The column has a link, where you can get their email address.
