Last night, a large crowd of people protested outside the 'Real Lives' event at a church in Western Australia. The protest was peaceful, with the protestors reportedly holding friendly placards with no yelling or anything confronting/aggressive.

Ahead of the event, the church insisted it was not a conversion event and pushed ahead despite the criticism.

A media release from the church included the statement, "We do not support or condone the practice of any coercive therapies."
