Hi supporters!

You may have read over the last few days that South Australia has joined Victoria and the ACT in planning to take action against conversion practices.

This is super exciting and welcome news. As always, the imperative thing is that any action must be multi-faceted and address not only formal practices, but also informal practices and ideology.

The SOGICE Survivor Statement outlines what survivors of conversion practices in Australia recommend in order for change to be meaningful. Please check it out and affirm your support for it here.

Supporters in South Australia (and anywhere else!) who wish to help are encouraged to share the SOGICE Survivor Statement as much as possible so that survivor voices are heard in the decision-making process.
