A great big THANK YOU to everyone who has signed and shared the petition so far! I'm completely overwhelmed by the support it is receiving from all over the world. I wanted to post an update to say thank you and also to ask you to please SHARE the petition in as many ways as you can. The more people we can get to sign, the more likely it is that our politicians will realise that they need to act. The petition has captured the media's attention, having been featured on radio programs, in print and online magazines and newspapers. Word has even reached as far as the United Kingdom, so that's pretty amazing. The response so far has really been unexpected, which shows me that people really do care about this issue and want to make a difference. Banning conversion therapy (in all forms), particularly for minors, is so important. It is a practise that has been proven to be ineffective and, more importantly, extremely damaging to individuals who are subjected to it. Let's show people that this is not a controversial issue at all - it is straight forward, evidence-based and just plain common sense. Let's keep the momentum going for everyone who has suffered and to prevent further suffering. Please SHARE this petition.
