Petition updatePRAYERS FOR THE HOSTAGES. HOME AT LAST.

How does one accompany the hostages, in prayer, through the days and nights?

What is it like to carry the hostages in the rhythms of one's daily prayer?

Shira Pasternak Be'eri, a Jewish woman in Jerusalem, traverses back and forth across the landscape of heartbreak and hope, lament and blessing, in this reflection that appeared in The Times of Israel last August.

Her words continue to inspire, instruct and strengthen our own rhythms of prayer. Note, especially, the language of blessing. It shines through, despite many dark realities.

May the hostages soon be returned; and our prayers hold them close.

Our prayer embraces, too, all whose lives have been shattered by the events and aftermath of October 7.

Thank you for being part of this prayer network.
