Six hostages murdered shortly before rescuers reached them, reports IDF

As this update was preparing to celebrate the miraculous rescue of hostage Farhan Al-Qadi, the news came of the recovered bodies of six other hostages held in Gaza:

Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23, Eden Yerushalmi, 24, Ori Danino, 25, Alex Lubnov, 32, Carmel Gat, 40, and Almog Sarusi, 27.

Each of their stories is related in this Times of Israel article. It is reported that the six were brutally murdered by their captors in a Gaza tunnel, shortly before Israeli troops arrived.

Words fail at this time of grief and outrage... May our prayer circle draw close to all who mourn, as we continue to pray for the remaining hostages.
