Pray for the Hostages During A "Week of Goodness" 14-21 July 2024

Parents of an Israeli hostage in Gaza are launching a “Week of Goodness”, commencing this Sunday 14 July 2024.
Reports The Times of Israel: “Rachel Goldberg-Polin and Jon Polin are launching a “Week of Goodness” campaign, with the hope that extra kindness, good deeds and generosity in the world could help bring about the release of the 116 hostages remaining in Gaza, among them their son Hersh Goldberg-Polin.”
According to Jewish tradition, acts of loving kindness can redeem and humanise the world.
From Sunday to Sunday (14-21 July), the Polins, together with other families whose loved ones remain in captivity in Gaza, are calling the Jewish world to sing, pray, study Torah, volunteer, bake challah, give money to charity, and help dedicate a new Torah scroll.
Whether or not we are Jewish, this is surely an initiative with which all people of faith and goodwill can identify and demonstrate their solidarity in appropriate ways.
Let's intensify our prayers for the hostages this coming week and continue to gather people into our circle of prayer.
