Desperate for help, Israeli families have released a 3-minute video of five unarmed female soldiers being captured and abducted to Gaza on October 7. Although sensitively edited for release, the footage from Hamas body-cams is shocking and brings home the grim reality of the hostages for whom we continue to pray. 

A Prayer for the Hostages

For the children, women and men still being held hostage in Gaza. We pray that they will find the hope and strength to survive in perilous conditions. May their captors release them - immediately, safely, for the good of all. And for those hostages who are known to have been killed or who have died in captivity, we pray for them and for their grieving families. O God, in your mercy and justice… Hear our prayer.
