Hello everyone! In the light of our in-person commencement ceremony being cancelled to focus on the health and safety of students, faculty, staff, and community members, many students would feel that an in-person ceremony would be a better send off. Colleges and universities all over the country are cancelling classes and graduations with many schools saying there will be an in-person celebration of the class of 2020 in the future (possibly in the summer, fall, or sometime next year), but it will happen. As much as a virtual ceremony would be a way to celebrate the class of 2020, many students feel an in-person ceremony and getting to walk, wear the cap and gown, and receive their diploma surrounded by friends, family, and fellow students would be the ideal way to celebrate all the accomplishments of the class of 2020. Please sign this petition if you’d like an in-person ceremony sometime in the future and forward it to everyone you know (Pratt students, alumni, professors, friends, family, coworkers, etc)!
