Animal sacrifice in the name of god is common at Kamakhya temple and several other temples across India. This is not only barbarous, inhuman and unholy but also irreligious and immoral. How can one appease the Creator by eliminating one of its own Creations. This practice must END. It will save millions of sentient beings from the sword of the butcher-priest. Animal-eaters have other options to please their palate. Using god's name to appease one's palate is unacceptable. Media have to play a larger role in exposing false notions and inhuman practices that have been in vogue in the society at large. Please come forward to save the planet and the diversity of life-forms on it. Ban Animal Sacrifice at Kamakhya and all other temples across India. Impose a lawful BAN on animal sacrifice in temples and jail the violator. Enact a strict LAW.
