Property owned by British, Indian and Portuguese Confiscated and Demolished

November 2019: It is alleged that a number of homes owned by British, Indian and Portuguese nationals in the coastal city of Daman, India was demolished under the directions of the Administrator  of Daman, Praful Patel without adherence to due process.

We understand that there are plans to confiscate further land and demolish more homes to make way for a ‘tent village’ to attract tourists to the region at the cost of destroying communities!

This is a gross abuse and exploitationof Human Rights.
