But tell us, have you ever seen the company market this product? Have you ever seen Colgate advertise about Bamboo toothbrushes? And ask yourself, why not? We don't know the reason. But there is another company called Bamboo India, which claims to be the first company that began manufacturing bamboo toothbrushes in India. They recently featured on Shark Tank India and claimed to be selling their bamboo brushes at an MRP of Rs 45, pretty much at par with our usual plastic toothbrush.

So why can't the market leaders in toothbrush manufacturing in India, such as Colgate and Oral B, simply substitute their plastic toothbrushes with bamboo ones, that are ecologically friendly.

It is worth mentioning that India is the second largest producer of Bamboo in the world, after China. So bamboo toothbrushes have immense potential. Keep signing and keep sharing this petition.
