Those of us who love a good pineapple on a slice of pizza are no strangers to insult and ridicule—but this is not about us. In honour of International Hawaiian Pizza Day, we (the good folks at Extra Virgin Pizza) are taking a stand to show the world that pineapples on pizza are a sign of progress; after all, if you can have prosciutto with melon, what is wrong with golden, juicy pineapples on a savoury tomato base?
