Just a quick update following last night’s board meeting — the board has agreed to allow fowl within the Village limits! 🎉

 

An ordinance is in the works and will need to be officially passed, along with a few regulations we’ll share soon. For now, please hold off on getting any fowl until everything is finalized.

 

Here’s what’s been approved: ✅ Chickens

✅ Turkeys

✅ Ducks

✅ Quail

❌ No guinea fowl

❌ No geese

❌ No roosters

 

All birds must be kept in a proper coop, and your setup will need to be inspected by our Animal Control Officer, Rob Larkins. You’ll also need to fill out a form before scheduling your inspection.
