After several discussions with Council, we are pleased to say that we feel heard and awareness has been raised on the following items and outcomes achieved :

• Better consultation/outreach with community in future leading up to Council decisions, incorporating all park users and not only key representatives of sporting associations.
• AFL will not be playing alongside netball games.
• Better planning in future by Council regarding time lines and impact to community.

unfortunately, these works cannot be postponed.

We look forward to the new courts that will be built at the expense of our netball competition, player and family mental and physical health, and casual court users. 

I sincerely hope Georges River Council can utilise this experience as an opportunity of treatment of their practices!
