First of all, apologies for updating so late as I was busy with own examination. So the update is that i sent a mail to the VC, Dean of colleges and Dean of Student Welfare on 30 December as we had enough signatures to back our request. However, as expected, I received no reply so i sent another follow up mail on 1 Jan and again I haven’t received any reply as of yet. Tomorrow I will send another mail seeking “a reply” (whatever that may be).

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to all those who supported this petition. Regardless of the final outcome, what truly matters is that we stood up, spoke out, and tried.
