Hello Bus lane access supporters, 

I spoke to some of you last Thursday promoting this petition and of course thanks to everyone that did. I would like to get to 1000 signatures as I see that as a significant benchmark to illustrate the strength of feeling to our PCC councillors so do please share the links to this to bolster our numbers. 

With that in mind I have today written to the sub committee below:

Traffic, Environment & Community Safety Scrutiny Panel

This committee is charged with scrutinising council policy and decisions which includes safety. The safety aspect alone should have been enough to get the council to make the right decision for us all so I have emphasised this in an email to all councillors on that sub committee and hopefully will get some sort of response in the following days. 

My FOI request to the council has the 20 working day (thats the law!) timer ticking away and that timer expires on the 12th May. 

I am also considering contacting the BBC but I think the priority has to be the signatures , the vast majority of our brothers and sisters sign as soon as they know what it's about but it's getting to them that's important so anything you can do to help that along I would appreciate muchly.
