Although the Oak Hammock area which flooded in October and again in early November is currently in the design phase to address the storm water issues. This project is not scheduled to take place until 2029 which is entirely to far out to give the residents of that area a piece of mind that their property will be safe against any future rain events.
Therefore, I have submitted a letter to the city manager asking that this project be fast tracked and that the city bond for the money to pay for the project.
