An update on Barton: The petition has been sent to Port Macquarie- Hastings Council and it is likely to be published on their agenda which is released on 26/6, to be tabled at the meeting on 1 July. We will keep you updated as this progresses. We hope that Council will show some leadership and in the spirit of genuine reconciliation adequately address culturally unsafe public spaces. 

The Project recently did a segment on colonial monuments, and Barton was included - we hope that the Councillors were watching!
